Terroir

Silty-sandy soil on granite, referenced as "Granite de Clisson" – classified as a *cru communal*. Weathered granite where vine roots penetrate quite easily to great depths, helping to protect the grapes from drought during the summer.

Harvest

Manuals in boxes.

Winemaking

Fermentation and aging on lees for 40 months.
Bâtonnage during the first year to increase the wine's creaminess.
