Vincent Carême Winery
A native of Touraine and a bon vivant, Rabelais called Vouvray "taffeta wine." This terroir overlooks the flood plain of the Loire, standing proudly on its hillsides facing its greatest rival: Montlouis. The Vincent Carême estate is highly representative of this A.O.C. and its unique grape variety: Chenin Blanc.
Established in 1999 and farmed using organic agriculture, its vineyard, with a south-facing exposure, spans 14 hectares. Here lies the quintessence of the partnership between an exceptional vineyard and a winemaker resolutely committed to a process of quality and respect for the terroir.
