The Domaine Breton is a family estate firmly established within the Bourgueil appellation, where Catherine and Pierre Breton have been producing Cabernet Franc wines for many years, farmed using organic and biodynamic practices.
The vineyard rests on a diversity of terroirs typical of Bourgueil, blending clay-limestone and alluvial soils, which are conducive to an authentic and structured expression of the grape variety.
The harvest is carried out by hand and the vinification is performed using indigenous yeasts, in a low-interventionist approach, with very measured use of sulfites and no filtration.
This artisanal philosophy gives rise to red wines of character, ranging from delicious and accessible cuvées to great cellaring wines with pronounced complexity.
