Les meilleurs vins de Cheverny

Cheverny

South of Blois, on the left bank of the Loire, the Cheverny vineyard flourishes between the gentle influence of the river and the coolness of the forest massifs. The climate there is mild, with regular rainfall favoring a harmonious ripening of the grapes.
The reds and rosés, composed of Gamay, Pinot Noir, and enriched with Cabernets, Cot, and Pineau d’Aunis for the rosé, are distinguished by their suppleness and lively fruitiness.
The whites, based on Sauvignon, are adorned with floral and mineral nuances, supported by Chardonnay and Chenin, while Arbois, which is becoming endangered, testifies to an ancient heritage.
