Situated in Vouvray, the Domaine de Beaumont spans 11 hectares across the hillsides bordering the Loire River. The terroir consists of clay soils with the presence of flint, and the subsoil is limestone, more commonly known as Tuffeau.
Since 1930, five generations have succeeded one another, passing down the love and passion for this "winemaking" craft in this vineyard. Today, Mathieu Cosme cultivates these vines in the manner of his predecessors. The vineyard is managed using biodynamic practices. In this same spirit of respecting tradition, all plots are harvested and vinified separately. This ensures that the expression of the "terroir" effect can be truly appreciated, and the choice of blends based on tasting will determine the various cuvées.
