Anchored in the wine-growing lands of Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil for several centuries, the Vallée family has passed down the Domaine de la Cotelleraie from generation to generation. Covering 26 hectares, the vines occupy every level of the landscape: the gravel of the terrace, the siliceous limestone of the gentle hillside, and the gravelly montils of the Loire Valley.
The estate has moved to organic certification : Gérald Vallée works the soil with respect for nature and in a way that extracts the best from the grapes, establishing himself, year after year, as a benchmark for the Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation.
