Le Clos de la Meslerie is an intimate Vouvray estate managed by Peter Hahn, dedicated exclusively to Chenin Blanc. The vineyard, spanning approximately 4 hectares, is cultivated using organic farming methods and managed with an artisanal, low-intervention approach. The vines, planted on clay-siliceous soils, surround an ancient residence in the heart of the enclosed vineyard. Each vintage results in a single cuvée, the style of which (dry, semi-dry, or sweet) faithfully reflects the year. Fermentations take place with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in old barrels. The wines are distinguished by their purity, mineral tension, and aromatic precision. Any residual sweetness, when present, always remains perfectly integrated.
