Le Vin d'Anjou est lié au Massif Armoricain

Anjou

The Anjou, a vast amphitheater of vines nestled between the Nantais region and Touraine, where Atlantic breezes and the mildness of the Loire mingle!
On the variegated soils of the Armorican Massif, Chenin Blanc reigns supreme, expressing in turn the crystalline vibrancy of dry whites, the tenderness of semi-sweet wines, and the sumptuous creaminess of sweet wines. Alongside it, Sauvignon and Chardonnay lend their floral and fruity notes to the most luminous cuvées.
The red wines, derived mainly from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, offer an extensive palette — from supple and easy-drinking wines to full-bodied and generous vintages meant for aging. This vineyard, bathed in a temperate oceanic climate, flourishes on hillsides that are at times schistous, at times calcareous, where every vine seems to breathe the softness of Anjou.
