Domaine Emile Balland

Emile Balland Estate

Domaine Émile Balland is a family-run wine estate spanning 8 hectares in the Centre-Loire region, with operations primarily focused on the Coteaux du Giennois appellation.
The estate works notably with Sauvignon Blanc, the iconic grape variety for white wines in the region, as well as Pinot Noir and Gamay for red wines.
Coteaux du Giennois forms the heart of the estate's production, with vintages that seek freshness, fruit, and expression of the terroir.
The estate also produces wines under the Sancerre appellation.
Its work is based on a precise knowledge of the soils and conditions specific to the Centre-Loire vineyard.
The white wines favor freshness, minerality, and aromas of citrus and white fruits.
The reds and rosés highlight the fruit and finesse of the Pinot Noir more prominently.
