The Domaine Yannick Amirault is a family-owned winery located in Bourgueil, in the Loire Valley. Founded in 1977, it covers approximately 19 hectares in Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil.
The vineyard has been managed using certified organic farming since 2009.
The main grape variety is Cabernet Franc, with a few cuvées of Chenin Blanc. The harvest is manual and the winemaking is low-intervention.
Aging takes place in vats, barrels, or jars depending on the wine.
The estate seeks a faithful expression of the terroirs and fruit purity.
Benoît Amirault, Yannick's son, now participates in managing the estate.
