Menetou-Salon
This vineyard is essentially based on soils composed of Kimmeridgian limestone sediments.
In its western part (the Menetou-Salon sector), the landscape has a gentler profile and the soils are more clayey. To the east (the Morogues sector), the slope is steep, the altitude higher, and the soils more calcareous, with some siliceous areas in Morogues.
Sauvignon is the basis for often superb white wines, and Pinot Noir produces remarkable rosé and red wines here that, in a good year, can prove to have good aging potential.
