Terroir

40-60-year-old vines on the limestone and sandy-clay soils of the Bourgueil hillsides. Strict disbudding, manual leaf thinning, and green harvesting ensure berries reach optimal maturity.

Harvest

Hand-harvested. The bunches are sorted on the vine and then taken to the winery.

Winemaking

Gravity-fed vatting of whole berries in stainless steel tanks. 3-week maceration.
12-month aging: 50% in truncated wooden vats, 40% in stainless steel tanks, and 10% in 400L barrels, followed by blending in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
